A Little Help from My Friends

I want to ask you a favor.

There is a website called Digg (www.digg.com), where people publicize web pages. These web pages get ranked by an action called "digg". When you go to the Digg website, you can view web pages from a big variety of sources. These web pages are of articles, pictures, videos or just anything. Then you can digg a page, if you like.

Digg is one of the most popular websites in the internet. Thousands of people view it every day. A link from Digg's front page to another website will boost the other website’s publicity. The catch is this: Digg is divided to two areas - "Popular" and "Upcoming". In the "Popular" area you will see the most popular web pages, which were dugg the most times. In the "Upcoming" area there are the less popular or new web pages. The front page of Digg shows you the pages that were recently turned popular.

It turns out that very few people go to the upcoming section. For one who submits a page to Digg, it's very hard to get the page from the upcoming area to the popular area, because when people hardly see your web page – they would hardly digg it, especially enough to make the page popular.

What I am asking you is this:
  • Join Digg by clicking here. Registering is a short and simple task.
  • Go to my submissions page by clicking here.
  • You will see a list of submissions. The submission on the top of the list is titled "Folie a Deux - by Shula Megiddo". On the right of it, there is a rectangle with the word "digg" in it. Click inside the rectangle.
  • After you dugg my submission, the word "digg" will change to "undigg". That means you're done.

Thank you very much! If you have done that, you have helped me a lot.
