Bental Mountain
Bental Mountain is part of an extinguished volcano in the north east of the Golan Heights in Israel, which
height is is 1171 meters above sea level. The other part of the volcano is called Avital Mountain.
Bental Mountain is called in Arabic "Tel El-Gharam" ("The Beloved Mountain").
The top of the mountain has a good observation on Syeria, Hermon Mountain and the rest of the Golan Heights.
Next to the visitor center there is a sculpture garden with steel sculptures by the Dutch sculptor Yup De
Young.
