Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Harry Potter

"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince", the sixth book in the Harry Potter Saga, has turned into a movie showing in theaters nowadays, and is quite a buzz.

I have read all seven Harry Potter books, watched the five films, and it is one of the cases I know the differences between a book and a movie based upon it. The direction of the movies and the design of the characters and the sets are good, but the movie still doesn't give you the whole book. It misses a lot of details. I believe I wouldn't have understood Harry Potter's story the same if I haven't read the books.

When the first Harry Potter movie came to the theaters, at first I didn't want to watch it at all, because I wanted to keep Harry Potter in my mind the way I imagined him. I've seen it only a year or two later on DVD. It didn’t spoil the book, but I felt I was lucky to read the book first.

"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince" was the best Harry Potter book. It reveals a lot of new information about Harry's world and explains a lot of the mysteries from the previous books. Continuing "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix", this book just gets darker and more mysterious, which in my opinion makes it more interesting. It also gets a little more out of Hogwarts than the previous books.

Having "The Half Blood Prince" book in my mind, I am expecting to see the movie soon. If you have already seen it, tell me if it's worth the theater ticket (just no spoilers, please).
